It's the little ones I love
Today at school a little first grade girl looked up at me and stared for a second before saying, to no one in particular, "Her face is really brown eh!" To which I replied, while trying to hold back my laughter, "Yeah! It really is isn't it!"
I sometimes wonder what people in my little town think of me, a strange stranger from far away who doesn't eat meat! and has no (Japanese) manners. Next time I think that, I should remember to hang out with my 6 year old friends and I'll know exactly what everyone is thinking but not saying.
